Squirrel!
Last month, I gave a reading at the American Writers Museum in Chicago. In their Children's Literature Gallery, one entire wall features a spectacular squirrel mural by author/illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky, Caldecott winner and author of The Wheels on the Bus. According to the Museum website, it "depicts forty-two squirrels intensely engaged in reading thirty-four books that represent significant milestones in American children’s literature." One of those books is Little House in the Big Woods. Can you find it?
